The Incentive Trip 2024 is designed to reward qualifying independent OPTAVIA Coaches of all ranks by celebrating their accomplishments on a Caribbean Cruise. Trip highlights include learning and development, gaining valuable business knowledge and insight from OPTAVIA’s top leaders, and of course, fun and sun with the OPTAVIA Community.
Symphony of the Seas will embark from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and sail to:
- Labadee, Haiti
- Falmouth, Jamaica
- Nassau, Bahamas
A trip for (2) two aboard Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas, April 14-20, 2024. The Trip includes:
- Cruise ship accommodations* for (2) two guests**

- Farewell Party
- Access to General Sessions (for Coaches only)
- Access to OPTAVIA TV channel featuring select session content and recognition highlights
- Unlimited opportunities for Team Time

**If the achieving Coach account has a “co-applicant” on their Coach account, the co-applicant will automatically be considered the guest. The achieving Coach’s guest cannot be another OPTAVIA Coach who failed to qualify for the Incentive Trip. If the Guest is under the age of 18, the Guest will not be permitted to attend OPTAVIA-sponsored events (general sessions, parties, etc.).
Congratulations! Please check your email for a personalized RSVP link by the end of January, where you can either confirm or decline your attendance and provide essential details. Be sure to complete your online RSVP no later than Friday, February 16, 2024 to secure your place on the Trip.
After I RSVP for the Trip when will I receive my Royal Caribbean Booking ID number? How do I complete online check-in for the cruise?
The week of March 11, 2024 you will receive a personalized email from OPTAVIA with your Royal Caribbean Booking ID number and instructions on how to complete the online check-in process.

Pre-cruise Travel & Accommodations
This is my first cruise (or I haven’t cruised in a while), how should I prepare for the Incentive Trip?

- Make sure your travel documents are in order.
- Contact your bank and/or credit card company to inform them you will be traveling internationally.
- Create your packing list. Be sure to pack a day bag for embarkation day. You’ll be separated from your luggage during embarkation day (it will be conveniently delivered to your room), so packing a bag with a few essentials (including any prescription medication) is a smart move.
- Use the Royal Caribbean app to plan your excursions, spa appointments, purchase internet and/or beverage packages, make specialty restaurant reservations, and much more.
- Get to know Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas.
It’s your responsibility to ensure you have all the proper documentation to board the ship and enter each of the countries the cruise visits. A passport is the best ID document for travel. Make sure yours doesn't expire for 6 months after your cruise ends (October 20, 2024). U.S. Citizens can cruise with a U.S. birth certificate on most sailings from the U.S. But your birth certificate needs to meet the requirements. Learn more at RoyalCaribbean.com.
I logged into Royal Caribbean’s Cruise Planner and my name is misspelled. What should I do to get this corrected?
If there is a spelling error with your name or any other personal information that needs to be corrected, please contact Coach Support no later than Monday, April 1, 2024.
You can conveniently add your Crown & Anchor number while completing the online check-in process using Royal Caribbean’s mobile app or online cruise planner. To access online check-in, you will need your Royal Caribbean Booking ID number which will be sent to you by OPTAVIA in a personalized email the week of March 11, 2024.
Infants sailing on the cruise must be at least (6) six months old as of the first day of the cruise. Expectant mothers can cruise if they are less than 24 weeks pregnant. Please ensure compliance with these guidelines for a safe and enjoyable voyage.
Cruise cabins earned through the incentive are not eligible for upgrade. If you have any specific preferences, feel free to let us know when you RSVP for the Incentive Trip and we’ll do our best to enhance your stay within the earned cabin category.
The Incentive Trip reward includes a trip for two (2). We have a limited number of cabins available that can accommodate up to four (4) passengers. Priority for these cabins will be given to families traveling with nursing infants/small children or those with specific religious needs. Any/all costs associated with a third or fourth passenger are not included in the reward and will be the responsibility of the Coach.
Unfortunately, connecting room requests cannot be guaranteed.
If I add a third or fourth person to my cabin, can I take advantage of Royal Caribbean’s promotional offers?
Unfortunately, Incentive Trip cabins are not eligible for promotional offers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please refer to RoyalCaribbean.com for Promotion Terms and Conditions.
If you need to update or change your guest’s name and information, please contact Coach Support no later than Monday, April 1, 2024. Change requests received after this date will not be able to be accommodated. When updating your guest’s information, please make sure you have all of their pertinent information ready.
During the Cruise
Incentive Trip 2024 will be presented in English. Closed Captioning will be available in English and interpretation will be available in Spanish, upon request. Requests can be made at the time of event registration and must be received on/before Friday, February 16, 2024.
As a standard, Royal Caribbean will have all beds together at embarkation. If you want the bed split, please tell your cabin attendant on the day of embarkation. Requests for cribs can also be made with your cabin attendant on a first come, first served basis.
If you do not have a Co-Applicant on your account and your guest is not a Coach, we invite them to attend all OPTAVIA-sponsored activities except General Sessions. General Sessions will be open to independent OPTAVIA Coaches only.
As part of the Incentive Trip reward, OPTAVIA will cover the automatic service gratuity, which is shared among dining, bar & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants and other hotel services teams who work behind the scenes to enhance the cruise experience. However, this coverage does not extend to other gratuities which are the Coach's responsibility. An 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverages and mini bar items. A 20% gratuity is automatically added to all spa & salon purchases.
Fuelings will not be provided. If you will be on Plan during the Trip, we strongly encourage you to pack your own Fuelings.
You can conveniently book shore excursions, restaurant reservations, spa treatments and more using Royal Caribbean’s mobile app or online cruise planner. To access both the mobile app or the online planner you will need your Royal Caribbean Booking ID number which will be sent to you by OPTAVIA in a personalized email during or around the week of March 11, 2024.

Royal Caribbean can accommodate dietary requests such as; food allergies, gluten-free, Kosher, low-fat, and low-sodium. You may indicate any special dietary requirements when completing your RSVP form.
A variety of vegetarian meals are available on all menus in the Main Dining Room and Windjammer Cafe every day. Guests do not need to make a special request for these meals. Vegan menus are available upon request in the Main Dining Room. Learn more at RoyalCaribbean.com.
